sixty-seven years ago

Sixty-seven years ago, yesterday, two Brisbane families suffered unimaginable grief. For a whole day, Queensland detectives interrogated Reg Brown after Bronia Armstrong's body was discovered at the BAFS Medical Institute in Albert Street, Brisbane. Reg was denied legal representation. That evening he was arrested, charged with wilful murder and locked up in the city watch house. For some this was just the beginning of 67 years of torment.

Identical to 1947, the 11th January this year also fell on a Saturday. To coincide with the release of Lingering Doubts, we shall follow the subsequent chain of events as they occurred in 1947.
